Art, Epson is currently claiming a 20-year life for their prints using selected ink and paper. Many "drugstore prints" won't last that long ... even if you keep them in a cool dark place.

If you want "true achival storage", the best solution is to cut a CD-ROM, wrap it in asbestos, and have it stored under a mountain in Utah. After the nuclear dust settles following WW III, your great-great-great grandchildren can dig out the CD's and view them. Assuming, of course, that there are PCs available at the time. Or, for that matter, shovels.
