More sweeping generalizations and name-calling. Let's get down to something more specific. Answer me this, Frank. What does it say about the character of the man, that he, as Governor, would mock and joke about a person his state put to death? Shouldn't be a more solemn moment. Can't be. And he's making fun. This is character? This is maturity? This is leadership? This is the kind of person you want as president?

That is incorrect. A federal employee who was hired in 1983 (don't know the exact date) or later is under the FERS system and is required to pay FICA just like every other worker. An individual who was hired before that specific date had the option of either converting to the FERS system and paying into social security or staying with the old retirement system.
