know the feeling... and even more than that: seeing clearly how stupid I was at early stages I honestly can't believe I survived.

I found it to be a turning point that's for sure! The actual moment when you turn from a novice into an survivor and then are on your way to being successful trader is unforgettable. At least for me <g>

Sometime's it's a slow metamorphosis, but upon looking back, it occurred in an instant.

Great info on this thread, finally somewhere that discusses controlling the EMOTIONAL side of trading - the part that can make or break you.
