Whereas in recent yrs, we've had many "best of all worlds" economic data, I see the market possibly beginning to face a worst of all poss worlds scenario: low unenumployment and continued high consumer spending, so the Fed is afraid to lower rates, yet a slowing economy so that corp earnings slow and eventually have flat yr-over-yr growth figs. Lots of anlaysts will be making downward revisions for earnings in Q4 and 2001, imho. Victor
