Hi EJ, In my case, in 1985 or '86 when I came across Lichello's book, the time was right for me to "see" it as well. My own methods had worked their way from Buy&Hold to carrying my own form of a cash reserve. However, that reserve was used in a "shoot from the hip" style and not very well structured. It proved to be AIM's superior skills as Purchasing Agent that won me over. Mr. L's whole method was similar to what I was attempting for myself. So upon reading his book, it was much like a warm clap on the back and Mr. L saying, "Tom, you're pointing in the right direction, but I can help you improve your AIM!" Investing remains fresh for me every day. I haven't had much boredom since taking it on as a full time occupation. Best regards, Tom
