ADX is directional movement..i use it on all charts..and all time frames...

there is a main trend line in this indicator, with +D and -D lines as an oscillator,,they crossed over right at that time frame on the daily chart early Sept giving that sell signal...

this is ADX (14 14)...named directional movement on QCharts....they have a full explaination on the help part of the site...

the trend line gives clues for climax's in selling and buying...usually above 50-60 area...
