Using margin with AIM presumes one knows where and when the bottom is for that issue.

Very risky in my book. I will never use it.

Hi Keith, As a warning with the Semi Equip. manufacturers, please try to understand how long their business cycle is. You don't have to hurry to buy their stocks when they start to decline. I'll check my own records, but would estimate that the decline isn't even half over for those particular stocks. I've been slowly letting my CGNX do AIM buying, about once per month.

LRCX I've followed for years since Floyd Stern first pointed it out on the Prodigy BBs when we still resided there. I don't think he stuck with the stock even though he was AIMing it at the time.

Look at a very long term chart, maybe even 10 years or in Value Line and you'll see the huge period of its cycle.
