When you compare the narrow way with the alternative (the broad way) you will see that one leads to life, the other, death. The narrow way is one that recognizes that God is (tri)personal and holy, and has revealed himself uniquely through his son, Jesus Christ. It acknowledges the reality of sin, death, and hell, and understands that every person stands guilty before this holy and righteous God. Further it sees the only hope for a solution to this problem, to reside in the vicarious and substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross and His subsequent resurrection from the dead. This, my friend is the essence of the "narrow way" that you seem to enjoy ridiculing. You are free to deny it, but then you must live, (eternally) with that choice. one thing you can not do is to add Jesus to a list of other so called enlightened teachers. Jesus' claims do not leave you that option. If Jesus' claims are true then all others are false, if the others speak the truth then Jesus is a false teacher. You seem to have chosen the later, I pray your eyes will be opened to the truth before it is too late. Here is the scripture in which the narrow way is found I suggest a careful read. Matt 7: Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. May the Spirit enlighten your heart; Greg
