Tom, I took a look at 70-80 period and even then Buy & Hold was almost as good as AIM. I thought maybe I was doing the analysis wrong (& maybe I am). So I even looked at your AIM Improvements page and the analysis of VTSS and notice that Buy & Hold would have resulted in a 8,641% return whereas AIM With SSV was 2,146%. Buy & hold would have been 4 times better. The stocks I was looking at were IBM, KO, & XOM. I want to start off with quality companies that will definitely recover from any downturn and would be good for at least 3 to 5 yrs. After I get my feet wet then I maybe a little more adventure.

This leads me to two questions. In looking at a stock on a historical basis what results are important to examine in comparing between AIM & Buy/Hold? Do you have some other stocks that I should take a look at?

Thanks,

Larry
