I've often wondered how they, whoever "they" are, decide which of the laws should be followed, and which ones are passe. Even Orthodox Jews, who follow many of the laws very strictly, don't seem to put witches and adulterers to death any more, and I don't think they do burnt offerings anymore, either. Remember George Carlin wondering whether the people who went hell because they ate meat on Friday are still doing "eternity in hell on a meat rap"?:)
