Your comment about women I believe was totally demeaning. The essence of your comment from my reading implied the following: 1.) Pro Life women were submissive and were found only in a "housewife" role, which by the tone of your comment was in and of itself a characterization that implied that women who choose to stay at home to raise children can be categorized and marginalized. Obviously, you know not of what you speak. 2.) That women will "come back to Gore" on the abortion issue implies that to women in general believe that abortion is an overriding factor in this election, over the economy, foreign affairs, character, etc. Again, your knowledge of the voter base is lacking, in my opinion. This is typical liberal rubbish, as male pols try to tell women that they have to vote Democratic in order to save "their right to choose (although I have never seen that right written anywhere in the Constitution)," while picking their pockets clean with new taxes. Many women today have to work in order to help the family get ahead (and after taxes - highest rate since WW II!), and therefore send their children to day care. But of course, the friendly government will help out there, as well, with free day care (government-run, of course, according to Gore). We of course need more taxes for that, so mothers (and fathers) have to work harder. Of course, we would prefer that you kill your child before it is born (to protect the environment for the endangered species), and if you're poor enough, we'll help you kill the little "cell (liberals can never bring themselves to admit that they're killing babies). The cycle never ends. American Spirit, you are full of ____, in my opinion. Women have many of the concerns as men, and many of those revolve around how they can get the most meaning out of their lives, work and families. Your characterizations are droll and boorish. G Howe
