A couple of points about Republicans: "American Spirit, you are full of ____, in my opinion. Women have many of the concerns as men, and many of those revolve around how they can get the most meaning out of their lives, work and families. Your characterizations are droll and boorish." (1) Republicans are incredibly profane, and cannot communicate without the use of profanity and vulgarity. (2) Republicans are incapable of discussing anything without throwing in a few gratuitous insults.

Womens issues: child-care, pre-school, health insurance for kids, equal pay for equal work, choice over their reproductive decisions, crime drugs and guns (Texas has rising rates of each) and education (how can Bush improve education by taking money away from public schools?) Certainly there are some anti-abortion women and some who want to put their kids in church schools. But ehse are all winning womens issues for Gore which is why he's ahead with them despite Bush's better looks (most believe) and why he's likely to get more of them back when Bush's record in Texas on these issues is exposed.
