Since the result is laudatory- it doesn't matter to me. Anyone talking tolerance, is talking tolerance, and adds to the public good (as I see it). He has already stated his stand for this race- the fact that it's out there is a fait accompli- I don't see how "lies" affect this.

You can assume he is lying if you want to. But the fact that he talks tolerance now is enough of a good for me to like him the more for it.

More lies, obviously. If it suddenly turned PC to bash gays, he'd switch his position back. Do we want a president with no foundation?
