Tench-

Assuming Mckinley first silicon arrives at the end of Q3 2001, what would be the minimum time to a launch?

Itanium is at 18 months and counting, while Willy seems to be headed for a launch 12 months after first silicon.

Tenchusatsu,

Take a better look. Tom said that Pentium 4 Xeon will be in 2-way SMP in Q2 2001.

You are right. I missed that.

Joe

Tench,
RE:"Tom said that Pentium 4 Xeon will be in 2-way SMP in Q2 2001. And according to him, Q3 2001 will supposedly have server versions of P4 Xeon with larger cache"

What chipset will they use for that?

Jim
