Well I sure jumped the gun in the low 60's, that's for sure. I am cutting it pretty close at the 49's. If I can survive to Wednesday, a "pop" would suit me just fine....of course a beer couldn't hurt too badly right about now either. ;-)

Bill, in such cases, it is better to buy short-term out of the money options. If the stock collapses contrary to what you expect, your leaps will get killed too. Your loss will be minimal if you buy Oct/Nov 55 calls if you expect a strong pop after earnings. CNBC hasn't been alone in carrying water for the "PC is dead" crowd. MSFT has done it itself to a certain degree...
