While I hope the peace talks succeed, in all honesty, I'm pessimistic. At the moment, there doesn't seem to be anybody of prominence on either side that is advocating peace - rather, judging from what you see on television and read in the news, it appears that there are a lot of people on both sides that would prefer to fight. Two more Palestinians killed today - and an Israeli kidnapped yesterday. Who wants peace? If there is anyone, they're not being too vocal about it. And it appears that the tensions are spreading to US soil:
