How is it an insult? Just by bringing up the issue that Dubya was alcoholic in his earlier life? He deserveds and gets credit for pulling himself out of it. But again stats show, if he ever goes back on social drinking, it could easily suck him into the habit. A personal disaster is all it takes for a person to go back to the bottle. You speak from your experience and I speak as witness to certain people who swore away bad habit for a very long period only to relapse to it.
