There is still a few more weeks to go for Christmas SKUs to show-up. I am not too concerned of this yet.

This I completely agree. AMD can easily make Durons more profitable to any OEM.

The problem is not just motherboards but the right kind of motherboards. The low-end market really needs integrated Graphics chipset which does not exist for Duron. It is too expensive to add a graphics chip and memory for low-end systems. A good chunk of volume comes from this class of systems and Duron is severely handicapped.
