With acknowledgment to your and this threads depth and wisdom I have a query.

When you see one LARGE 3Mil block of shares trade intra day, on a stock that normally trades a total 2Mil, and the stock is currently trending down. What can one draw from that event? ??? All sorts of spec running through my head since I'm sitting short a block. I'd like to hear wisdom-speak?
If one is shorting, he must do it on an uptick, but then the specialist would have a hard time filling the order, if you were buying, you'd have the same problem, plus I don't think you'd want to show your hand would you? So it goes if you were long and wanted out, you would piece it out, not dump all at once would you? So this had to be a pension fund or some fund selling it back to the company, or another fund? would you suppose?? It happened yesterday, then, today the stock has continued down another small amount, etc. nothing big, just an eighth here and there??
I can't quite figure, so I need assistance. por Favor!
