Brookelise,

Are you and Monty the same person? Having Monty on Ignore, I would not know when he comes and goes, but generally when you show up, and I check the list of messages, I see Monty's name on the list.

Well, welcome to my ignore list. You join a list of distinguished posters that includes:

Well Brooke, appears that you have made the infamous "ignore list". Appears they need to be paying more attention rather than being ignorist.

BTW, I am looking for a post where Mani himself did some more name calling. Don't you just love these people who apply the rules without bias.

Monty

Brookelise stated:As for who was blind, biased and drowsy, AMD's price makes that a touchy issue. Maybe no one
-- just unlucky. But certainly not Monty, who called it like it is (and it sure is today).

I see we're getting some of the Intel regulars in here today.

As a hardware person.. I have stated ad nauseaum on here and the other AMD thread to those gloating Intel and RMBS investors about how AMD's stock is doing poorly that their dropping stock price does not necessarily reflect accurately how they are doing as a company.. I only have to point to the last 2 qtrs as proof.. AMD posted record earnings and sales.. and both times the stock has plummetted.. AMD cant help it if Wall Street and investors looks at them pessimistically.. if their success is overlooked by investors and analysts right now, or they dont get any credit.. or they have to endure being called "roadkill" or "facing the abyss" by analysts.. so be it. All they have to do is keep executing their releases as they have been and keep bringing in profits as they have been and eventually, one would think the crowd would get the message. I realize thats small comfort to AMD investors right now.. but thats going to be the way it is for now. I see Scovel has issued an encouraging report today and giving a full scale rebuttal to the WSJ article.. so thats a start.

As I have already stated.. Hardware reviewers/sites and the grassroots of those sites love AMD's new products and love AMD's execution in general.. when those sites start acting like the analysts and being downright pessimistic.. then I'll be concerned about AMD's future.. but not til then.
