, we hit Naz 1500 before we hit Naz 5000.

The last time the naz was 1500 there was almost no supply-chain or mfg automation to speak of. Software automation in business consisted of an excel spreadsheet and a bunch of reports from your erp (if you were lucky enough to have implemented an erp). When you wanted to buy a component for mfg you had to pick up a phone and call suppliers for price quotes. The past 4 years have seen sweeping improvements in software which really make manufacturing and distribution more efficient.... in order to do this we need the internet infrastructure.

In order for the naz to go back to the levels you suggest it would mean no monetization of these innovations... possible but really far-fetched imo. The problem with some bears is they think the internet consists entirely of priceline and ebay. That stuff is just fluff compared to b2b automation.

Chic, Abby J. was 1/2 right for 1 day. :-))

She said 15% off Thursdays lows. Well she got a little over 7%. She did not say how long it would hold. :-)

Look at the clowns that paid up to 29 and change for BVSN after hours last nite. Or better yet look at the poor suckers buying JNPR yesterday at 240ish. Not enough fear YET.

Monty

PS notice how they keep moving the date forward. Now it is aug 2001

PS- Ahh shucks, Crisco just went red, again.....

Few people are going to give much weight to your posts if you continue to taunt other posters with such trivia. One stock tick is hardly a trend.

IBM meets - news coming

Looks like Bambs is going to be wrong about earnings misses and it looks like concern over earnings softness may be overstated. Of course conference calls to come and forward looking statements are key but this is a move for the bulls.

BTW:... looks like CSCO ended positive so your so called pump and dump is so far just that. MS purchased at 49 and they are up 10% and if earnings come in as these are MS will make a nice tidy sum.....

OK. It's time to go play in your sandbox, little boy. Your opinions are getting more ludicrous by the day.
