Lizzie, RE: The last time the naz was 1500 there was almost no supply-chain or mfg automation to speak of. Software automation in business consisted of an excel spreadsheet and a bunch of reports from your erp (if you were lucky enough to have implemented an erp).

Funny back when the Nasdaq Composite was at 1500 just two years ago, I was under the impression that there was plenty of supply-chain or mfg automation. I also was under the impression that software was much further along than that. I could have sworn that SAP's R-3 has been around a lot longer than that, but I guess I could be wrong.

Lizzie, I think more and more people are getting the big picture. The internet running on an optical hyway is the infrastructure of the 21 century. The new economy will be built around a platform that runs on light, like it or not the George Jetson age is in the process of being rolled out right before our eyes. So first this platform must be built, thats why the optical co.s and others that dovetail in, are so important. The focus now is for the hook up of the metro area. the roll out of the Goerge Jetson age will take the hookup of brain power and artificial intelligence, the optical highway is the platform that will allow for that. We have no idea of the amount of innovation and commerce coming are way. Hang in there every one, technology is here to stay, this is BIG!! The party has only just begun. As for the over valuation thing in the optical stocks, one, they need the money to pull off what their doing, two, there is more and more competition coming on line so alot of this will sort itself out, three, some of these companies are going to grow huge as they connect up the globe.
