I don't think McGinn is going to resign on his own. How much of his options are vested now? I think he is holding steady
for his options and want the dead beat board to kick him out. I am not sure taht will happen.
Probably he has reached a stage where there is nothing for him to lose in this war with the Street guys. In such a war
the real losers are share holders. Both the Street and Management will get what they want.

GeorgeB, I agree with you that the metro space is wide open and that it is huge. i truly believe that LU will find a way to fail in their efforts to win the battle. The root of the issue is that they purchased a small company to lead the charge. this small company is now filled with disgruntled employees that are likely planning to bail as soon as they vest. Since the box is already late, what proof is there that it will ever be a competitive product? we have seen Nexabit articles touting sales of the terabit router, but that company has been decimated. Is there any proof that the nexabit box is in existence today?

I agree with you. A positive change needs to be made to right LU. McGinn should let go of whatever fantasy he is clinging to and let a capable and technically savvy replacement right the ship. Maybe he is hanging on to take the CEO position of the ME spinoff....wouldn't that be the kss of death?
