Tony: It seems like Europe is the ket to the 4th qrtr. I guess Andy feels that they will have much better visibility next qrtr. Idiots on TV are now castigating INTC for being over cautious. Now this idiot Steve Franks is saying can't you be more accurate than 4-8% sequential increase. I would like to see some of these pundit assholes run a company with the complexity of an Intel. Now Frank asks why not scale back your capacity and he can't grasp INTC doesn't have enough capacity to meet present demand. Ithink these guys on TV are perfect anal sphincters. JFD

Tony,

re: conf call

It was an excellent conf call.

The big problem is q4 forecast.

4%-8% sequential growth is 50% of what folks were expecting.

I'm afraid the analysts kept focussing on this as well as overall pricing environment.

Still could be a lousy day tomorrow.

regards,

Kash.
