Unfortunately, this action, coupled with the departure of the communications product director, seems to suggest a reduced interest in building the base memory operations.

Though I hope you are wrong about this, I'm afraid you may be right. I had the same thought when I read the announcement.

how can you say this , when they introduced new SRAM product
and 16 & 64m sdram products, new 4,8, 16 flash, a new
license deal with UMC on flash, an investmrnt with TSEM for latest flash technology. the IRP is coming next year, the design is complete...what else do you guys want...

ASP's are rising, margin is rising, backlog 137m, new customers...
