Brian, thanks very much for the article! Even IBM said they could not satisfy all customer demand for their chips and would have been able to add 2% to revenue growth if they had.

Does anyone still doubt this is analyst manipulation when industry leaders strongly disagree with them?

Yes, I believe the sector has been ridiculously oversold by analysts and individual investors alike.

I think we've had a capitulation this morning that marked a pinpoint bottom and we'll rally from here for the next 6-9 months. In short, the turnaround is upon us.

It's no coincidence that this rout climaxed in mid- to late October, a period where, with striking consistency, investors at all levels just love to panic.

The SEM industry remains vibrant and the recent, apparently overwhelmingly pessimistic, news items are, in the big picture, mostly supply chain glitches due to overwhelming demand. These glitches will impact the sector for 3-6 months..but that impact is fully priced in now and we can now expect to regain valuations based on cQ1-cQ2 sales.

I've added some SEM long positions today since Mr. Market has begun to send the clarion messages I've been waiting for.
