Why Bush gets elected in Texas. Charisma, big name and tons of money. Also it is a very conservative state, to the right of the nation as a whole.

Steve, It is estimated that, at least, a third of the votes Bush received in the last race for Governor, were from Democrats. Regardless of party affiliations, Texans have sense enough to think for themselves.
