Stock of CGI

New York, New York, Oct. 18, 2000 (Market News Publishing via COMTEX) --
Anthony C. Dike, MD, Chairman and CEO of Meridian Holdings, Inc. announced that
pursuant to a resolution adopted by the board of directors on October 17th,
2000, for each 20 shares of common stock of MEHO owned, shareholders of record
as of January 2, 2001 will be issued one (1) share of common stock of its' CGI
Communications Services, Inc., subsidiary. The dividend distribution, which will
be made to all shareholders -- excepting all current and past officers,
directors and affiliates -- will take place in January 2001, following MEHO's
annual meeting. Corporate Stock Transfer (Denver), the company's stock transfer
agent, will process the dividend issuance.

"This stock dividend is an expression of appreciation to our shareholders for
their support during this early stages of the development and execution of our
business plan. We are committed to building shareholder value by positioning
affiliated companies as independent business entities in which Meridian
shareholders enjoy equity participation," said Dike.

Also, the board of directors approved tentatively, January 5th, 2001 as the date
for the annual shareholder meeting for the year ending December 31, 2000.

shareholders of record as of November 6th, 2000, upon the effectiveness of a
definitive proxy statement.

my 12 year olds could write that well-we are forgetting this country is has a strong foundation based on belief in GOD-the erosion of this foundation has caused rampant moral decay to which few of us are impervious imo,yours truly included
