ATHM's stock price misery is shared by many other telecom stocks Is ATHM seen as a telecom stock? Maybe so, but should it? What does ATHM care about the price of long distance? They are primarily a user of telecom, not a provider of it. Is ATHM seen as a .com? Thats my guess. But considering that Excite is valued at less than zero and is shrinking as a % of the total thats not terribly rational. Is ATHM connected to the DSL massacre? Sure. Why? I've no clue. The reasons DSL is crashing have zero to do with ATHM. So what is ATHM really? Its a utility more than anything. Stable growth, boring predictable income, with a lot of possible surprise sources too. I simply dont see why nobody gets that. I'm getting really mad. I don't know how much longer I can stand letting this stock mess up my life. When are the sellers ever going to give up? Eric
