In any event, these are 3 speciality companies focused on narrow segments of the market. I'd hardly consider them barometers for the industry or the stock market.

I never suggested they were barometers; merely that they were additional datapoints upon which to attempt to gauge the health of the industry. As always, the more datapoints the better.
