You are right. A decision by the Japanese to outsource manufacturing is a powerful endorsement. This is the 2nd Japanese manufacturer to outsource to SLR. More are likely to follow more rapidly now. It is good for the industry.

I think FLEX is cheap here. I like SANM and CLS too. SCI is worth a dance again from here and VG is very cheap given that its PCB business (55% of revs.) is sold out for the foreseeable future and the remaining outsourcing business is growing fast and will boost margins.

Flex in their CC talked about this SLR-Sony Deal. They were delighted. The electronics market in Japan is 200 bill/year and about 1/3 of the total market. SLR had a relationship with Sony already and CEO is Japanese but Marks thinks this is just the beginning in Japan and their will be more coming and a great expansion of ECM business opportunities. This plus the new optical potential business insures growth continues.
