Paul-- I think you like Gore have little idea just how current most Fed agencys are in tech,,, Databases..Many do not want to be connected, have no reason to be connected and others would raise serious privacy concerns.. those that need be or have reason to be will be. There are things that those in industry do not have to contend with to the extent of those in govt-- budgets are often tighter (at least the last decade) than in industry and the scope-- compare novl or even GM to the IRS or the USPS and you will get an idea of what size and geography really is. Check out their IS/IT budgets and spending and you will be shocked. See if IR can get you the annual rev of the USPS alone with novl. Find what these and other agencies have done in the past 5 years and what is being done along with future plans and you and Bore would be very surprised.. and so would many in industry
