Hi Steve
"We cannot know, with any certainty, that God exists."
Well, I suppose that would depend on what level of proof you would require. What would it take to prove God's existence to you?

You are absolutely right "We cannot know, with any certainty, that God exists". The government will however find the population much more tractable to deal with when the lights go out, i.e. a crisis if there is someone e.g. a God to offer their sufferings to.

It is probably to late and we are in need of a massive revision of the bible and our current unwritten moral code. I'm sure when the lights go out it won't be just the witches toasted. With any luck at all it will be judges, lawyers and the et al who take all.

Who could possibly start a movement today that could capture the imagination of people and unite them? Is it possible another peace and love generation could actually get behind a movement for positive change? It would need to fit into a religious stereo-type to work and be trans-generational.
