That used to be the shorter's dream play as if he never sold it he didn't have to recognize the gain for tax purposes. Unfortunately, the rules got changed on that trick.

Specialists on the Amex make some nice coin selling crap that is worthless to people who just want to get it off their sheets for a few pennies... it can take quite a while to clear that stuff up.
