I disagree that Ballard is direct competition for ATF. ATF's not in the fuel cell business. They're both in the motive power business which makes them competitors in a sort of marginal way. If ATF can convert an internal combustion engine to run on hydrogen extracted from gasoline then there's no need to build an infrastructure to deliver natural gas (the other fuel ATF can use to run IC engines or to extract hydrogen from). It's certainly more interesting than it's been for years!
Edit: But what do I know? Even the $100.00 questions on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" are getting tougher!!!
