Bush said Wednesday that his focus now moves to turning out voters who have been identified as his supporters. That effort includes a nationwide organization and increased efforts to energize them, including referring to Gore as a "big spender" and making appearances such as Tuesday's on the Rush Limbaugh radio show, which draws a conservative nationwide audience.

"In a close election the team that's got the troops on the ground that are ready to go to work is the team that is going to win," Bush told supporters at a rally in Eau Claire, Wis.

Later, he told Limbaugh: "This is going to be a close election. I'm running against an incumbent, and I'm going to campaign hard between now and November 7, and a lot of it is going to be to gin up our base." .............DOES HE INTEND TO GO BACK TO DRINKING?

George W. Bush continues to grow and to show his calm, well-mannered self

Fancy words to say W is timid. Every 2 bit dictator will challenge him.
