Brad, I really wonder about this analogy. I can think of no reason for anyone to lump AFFX in with the so-called chip companies. In spite of the technology they share, the markets are in actuality completely different. The only relation they'll have longer term is that eventually (once bio-implementation of semiconductor technology has reached the edge) pure chip technology may influence growth opportunity. That's not yet the case for gene chips, IMO. Randy
