just lost $350 on a JPNR short until J.T. woke me from my daydream and reminded me that the bottom approacheth. Yep, I too did not want to step in front of the MSFT earnings even though the put/call and VIX were signaling the bottom was at hand.

Of course, the bearish argument would be that all this was orchestrated to approach max pain so all those written puts would evaporate many a bears profit. And to support this are the e-wave cries for 2,800. Possibly intraday Monday?

Something's wrong, Bobby ... I think this is the first time we've ever agreed.

On JNPR, at least, we continue to disagree: it is a technically perfect broadening top. It could go on to make a 4th high, but I'd be a seller when/if it hits the upper trendline. And I'd short it on a close below 174 for the ride to 120.
