S&M is aggressive because they are
1) international <offices in Amsterdam / Singapore> that will add some expense plus travel costs incurred go up
2) adding customers like crazy

Did you see the top 10 customer list?
Sprint and Worldcom are now there; CEO said this is next big opportunity.. these 2 carriers
AOL
Telefonica (Spain and South America)
and lo and behold, British Telecom.

Their top 3 customers went from 72% of overall sales last Q to under 55% this Q... this is impressive diversification in such a short period of times. It all comes from aggressive sales and aggressive pampering ..errr..marketing(kissing ass)

They were down $3M in SBC sales, flat on COVD and Hanaro (those are their top 3 clients) yet were able to grow 25% sequentially overall. Where is that coming from? Sales Dept. MZ finally figured this out ... "oh we need more than 3 customers after all".

Also they held sales expense FLAT from the previous quarter (sequential spending was nil)... which is a beautiful thing. And R&D up from $9M to $13M. Also a good thing.. investing in yourself.

I will leave it at that on this board; Im sure no one here wants to really hear about it. I only started posting today in response to someone's EFNT comments and then that Bruce Albeda CPE figure for this Q.. left the jaw hanging
