There are still some valuation issues despite corrections.

It doesn't, that is one reason I suspect a grinding lower for some period of time - not even 3 years, but a longer term down grinding.

There are the valuations I mentioned above & some earnings issues also. Insurance company failure in Japan, far from all roses.

Can the glass be seen as neither 1/2 full nor 1/2 empty, rather that it contains 1/2 of it's total contents? Can we simply retrun to no hype?
