OT -- If you dont register your gun and get the licence showing you did, I know you will not be able to buy ammo without producing that card.. I havent seen anything yet saying guns would be confiscated if you didnt register.. but a) if you're a law abiding citizen.. you should have no fear about registering, and b) there arent that many guns to confiscate up here even if that was the case. If more then 5-10% of the law-abiding citizenry in Canada have weapons at home.. I'd be shocked. Guns just arent owned up here unless you're a farmer or a hunter in the rural areas.. or perhaps a gun collector... they arent prevalent at all.
