Somebody ran over my dog about 40 years ago. It killed him. Now I find he is still chasing in another universe, where he went for the other wheel. He was a good dog,but he didn't like rubber or technology.

Anyway, that was just a random memory, and down on paper it went. Thinking of speeding cars--is that what the fundamental goal of mankind has been, and is? Everything from cars to spacecraft, from the 100 yards to the marathon....to photo reading--one page a second, guaranteed--: We want more speeeeeed! Are we seeking the speed of light, so that we may rest our weary minds at last? Or are we simply trying to get away from the dog?
