and others are saying cell phone slow down is due to lack of broadband. Why upgrade your cell phone if you do not have the broadband.

Interestingly, if I recall correctly, the last market 'correction' (in May) ended as SDLI made a positive pre-announcement. This time, their earnings release sparked a rally that added about a trillion dollars in market cap to companies in the sector. Lotta clout for a company that 98% of the public (including those relics on the floor of the NYSE) has never heard of. Any way you cut it, JDSU did VERY well in bagging SDLI. They got a deal...and that actually says a lot about JDSU management. It was truly a great move.
