I've been out of WFR for some time now and haven't kept up with them. Yes, a wafer shortage would impact back end growth, all else equal. ...like no shrinks.

If there were a wafer shortage, I'd expect them to be able to command much better prices, much better profitability and no difficulty in raising the capital for additional wafer capacity. None of those seem to be the case at this time.

Yes, "No growth" was hyperbole. Back end revenues from incremental tools don't go to zero. There's always some sector that's still firing on most cylinders or a few niches growing within other sectors.

Key point is that the cycle ends when Capacity substantially exceeds demand and will do so for more than a couple quarters. I've seen no signs that that might be true or imminent.
