I am usually a very trusting individual, however, this time I am not. I smell a rat. No one knows more about Prozac and Prozac II than Lilly. One scenario is that Lilly kills Prozac II today, and surprise, surprise, Prozac is discovered to have the same problem at a time convenient to Lilly. (post patent expiration, and when one of their two products is further along). *Slick Lilly* finds a way to kill generic competition if and when it is covenient to do so.

Indeed, the recent exchange shows SI at its best. No conspiracy theories have been presented, as far as I recall...but I'll say phooey to the thought as well. What's not phooey is post 4605 from hm where a reminder is presented of the normal level of information exchange between companies cooperating on drug development. So hm is on the mark regarding SEPR: They were partners in the program so even if they didn't know that Lilly was actually going to kill the drug, SEPR might have known about the safety issues. I'm not into conspiracy theories either. However, if the insider selling was in reaction to learning of the safety concerns prior to the public announcement, this was indeed a prudent investment decision for those privy to such info. I was called 'naive' earlier this year (vis-a-vis Klic) for doubting insiders would act with such blatant self-interest. I'm not into conspiracy theories. I've learned not to be foolishly naive either. I'll leave it at that. Go Cardinals :(
