Donald, [edited] did you know that SEMI has quarterly data broken out by front end, backend etc? semi.org!OpenDocument ...and a SEMI index for the current day or 5 years - with comparison to SOX, DOW etc semi.org G.

Today was a rather rare day in that the group closed up by 5 percent while the NASDAQ essentially remained unchanged.
