Dell seemed completely out of place in the discussion of availability of Athlon > 1 GHz computers. So, I thought you meant HP, Compaq or Gateway.

Erik - I think he is trying to tell you that DELL has no AMD based systems at all, they are 100% Intel (unless you count the Alphas in their PowerVault storage systems).

This has nothing to do with Retail versus Direct - you referenced DELL several times, and DELL does not sell any Athlon products. Maybe you meant CPQ.
