McJimmy - Re:"Basically, all I see is Intel limping P4 along until another chipset comes out and then really ramps on .13."

Forget Rambus - you have forgotten your own slogan.

MHz Sells - and when Intel has the fastest processor available with the Pentium 4 - and the system prices are reasonable - the Pentium 4 will sell - with Rambus memory or core memory or.

The only price I've seen for a "special order" 1.2 GHz ThumperTurd id $2500 - and that sure as hell ain't cheap.

Anything close to that with a Pentium 4 inside and Intel's name on the outside will sell quite well.

Once SDRAM and/or DDR SDRAM chip sets - and 0.13 micron Pentium 4 (Northwood) are available in Q3 of 2001, the Intel manufacturing engine will be revved up to make AMD's life - shall we say - "very interesting".
