Teresa,

I could go on and on, but I am sure I'll be shot for this one.

<LOL>I don't think you'll be shot for pointing out most investor/trader's inadequacies. Speaking for myself, having traded stocks and options for a few years, and being a bit (not much to brag about) successful at it... I've never really looked anywhere else but stocks. The fear of the unknown grips me when I think about futures and commodities... and that's all there is to it. But now, you've tickled my fancy a bit and I might read about it a little bit... :-)) However, if someone like yourself, with the background that you have, can be "lost" in it for 6 months... what chances do I have coming in from the "retail" environment?

Your posts are very well written and very thought provoking! I hope people who intend to trade the market as a means of daily substinence would read your comments...

Thanks,
SF

There is no psychological comfort, no hope.

I think you are probably right. Maybe I was lucky to start in futures, never developed any of the 'hangups' you speak about.

And yes, I am sure you will get shot for that one <ggg>.
