I always vote.

Politicians reflect the will of their constituents. That's their role in a democracy. Thus you are saying that the people can't be trusted.

Some constituents seem to have an undue weighting in the politicians decisions. A democracy is about majority rule with minority rights, correct? It never quite works out like that does it, because there are frequent instances where minority rights are abridged by the majority as well as instances where powerful minorities have been able to hold sway over what the majority wants.

Nothing good is doable by your reasoning so you might as well go for the bad.

Not true, never has been. If that were the case I wouldn't waste my time arguing against an immovable object such as yourself.
